In implementation of the Trust’s 5-year strategic plan (2023-2027); the Trust is implementing the Youth Entrepreneurship Support Initiative (YES-I) Program which is targeted for SATF enterprise-conscious graduates to start/improve their businesses thereby increasing income, creating jobs for themselves and others. The implementation of this project is under 7 phases and currently under the 6th phase of implementation which is the granting stage. The selection of the target group was done through various selection criteria which targeted to pick the most deserving youth with most-feasible business idea; field verification for confirming the situation of beneficiaries before support. During the application process,129 graduates applied to join the program, where after the screening and verification exercise, 10 graduates were selected. The 10 young beneficiaries have already been trained on the entrepreneurship skills.
