The program uses trained peer educators to effectively reach students with key messages on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) and HIV/AIDS prevention through health talks. A total of 20 teachers were trained as Trainers of Trainees (TOTs) and also served as Matrons and Patrons for school health clubs. Additionally, 80 selected students were trained as Peer Educators, and 80 health clubs were established in schools to provide a safe space for students to discuss their challenges related to sexual and reproductive health. Through this peer education program, a total of 3,231 students, exceeding the initial target of 2,100, were reached with important behavior change messages. These were delivered through one-on-one sessions, group health talks, and inter-school debates. The initiative emphasizes the importance of young people having access to accurate, comprehensive, and age-appropriate sexual health education and care, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
